Gov. Martin O'Malley's tax plan to end the state's budget woes will cost you more, whether your business pays its own taxes or is a "pass-through entity," in which the shareholders are taxed for their earnings.

Many small businesses and partnerships will see increases, too, through a projected rise in income tax that O'Malley has said is primarily for the wealthy.
